This is my Father's world.

And to my listening ears

All nature sings,and round me rings

carols raise.The morning light,the Lilly white,declare

He shines in all that's fair;in the rustling grass

I hear Him pass,He speaks to me everywhere.

Verse 3: This is my Father's world,O let me ne'er

forget.That though the wrong seems oft so strong.

God is the Ruler yet!This is my Father's world! The

battle is not done!Jesus who died,shall be satisfied,

and earth and heaven be one!

I absolutely love this hymn.Especially when the

spring is just beginning! It reminds me of my Saviour

and all He has done and yet to do.Such an encouragement!

I don't forget Philippians 3:20 which states "For our

citizenship is in HEAVEN,for which also we eagerly wait

for a Savior,the Lord Jesus Christ!"This verse helps me

to remember where my true home is and not to be to

comfortable on the earth.And to remember to "EAGERLY"

wait for my Savior who is yet to come.Being to comfortable on

the earth as a believer will take your mind off Christ's return.

"and to wait for His Son from Heaven,whom He is raised from

the dead,that is Jesus,who rescues us from THE WRATH TO COME!"

I.Thessalonians 1:10This,of course,doesn't mean we can't enjoy

the beauty the Lord has given us!I enjoy every season He's given

to me.Hopefully these verses will help you with your

A Beautiful Spring Sunset!!!

I Have been thinking a lot this week about our past sermon.It was talking about The God of ALL Grace.Reading over my notes this week I have been very encouraged!I thought I would take some time to write down on of my favorite points we went over.

Grace in being BORN AGAIN

I.In relation to Salvation

a.Keeping the divine assessment

of the human condition

before us at all times!

Together we have all turned aside,together we have become corrupt.There is NONE who do good.NOT EVEN ONE!Romans 3:23"For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.Jeremiah 17:9"The heart is more deceitful than all else,and is desperately sick;who can understand it?

b.By pointing out and exposing counterfeits among us!
Titus 3:5-7,Romans 11:16,Galatians5:4

These things were very near and dear to my heart this past week with the death of my grandpa.My family is catholic and I was really upset with what the Catholic church was saying at the funeral.This sermon really encouraged me and reminded me of what to watch out for.I ran out of time to write down all the verses I wanted to, so I will finish this after a while.I was able to write down some references though so look them up.They will encourage you on your walk with the Lord and remind you of what you were saved from!In Christ's Love,Kelsey

Antiquing with the Edwards'

Ohhh...YES.....I can't forget about my finds I found when I went antiquing!I found these cute actually I'm not quite sure what they are;.)!!!???But I believe them to be yarn spools(correct me if I'm wrong)But anyways I purchased three, took them home,and tied a piece of scrap fabric around them.I didn't find too much,but was very happy with what I did!-Kelsey

Vintage Magazine Ads!

Michelle and I were going through some old magazines and taking out the pictures we liked to frame them.I thought the lady with the vaccuum was So cute!And as for the ballerina ads anyone who knows me probably knows how excited I was to find them!:.0

Aren't these little naked babies so PRECIOUS!!!!I thought this would be really cute in a baby room "someday;.)"

I love the pic. to the right with the dad trying to keep hold of the little ones to take a picture(probably absolute insanity;.)And the mom calmly cleaning out the tub:.)ha ha I'm sure to all the mom's with little ones out there just have to laugh when they see this(BETH??:.)

My Dear Friends:Keith and Shirley

Today I found an old recipe aunt Shirley gave my mom a at least 12 yrs ago.I got an idea to put it in a frame with a Christmas picture they sent me this past December.I apologize for the blurriness of the pictures its hard to take a picture of a picture!:.)Aunt Shirley had given me a picture of them back in the 1940's before they were even married.I look at these and think what a funny thing time is!She tells me it seems just like yesterday when the black and white picture was taken.Keith and Aunt Shirley came into my life when I wasn't 5 years old yet.Aunt Shirley's brother Bob was our neighbour back in Lacon on South Ida St.When he passed away Keith and Shirley came to clean his stuff out of the house.One day when they were cleaning out the house Shirley stopped by our house to use our telephone.Being a curious 4 year old I was very interested it what she was doing over there in Bob's house.Soooo... I decided to find out.I don't think I left the poor woman alone.Every time they came over there I was ready to help my new found friends(I don't know if i was a help or a burden;.)Keith and Shirley lived on the bad side of Peoria so they decided to move in right next door to us in Bob's old home!I was so thrilled!!!Shirley still tells me what a joy I was to her having a little girl over to keep her and Keith company.(bouncing on the bed,doing her dishes,eating all her goodies:.)We've since moved, but I still keep in touch with my dear neighbours.I still don't think they realize how much they mean to me!They were another set of grandparents to me.I am so thankful to the Lord for putting them into my life.This recipe will make me smile every time I look at it.The Lord is good to put such people in our lives.They gave me many found memories of my childhood.On a cold snowy day after you were done playing outside you could always count on Aunt Shirley to have a nice warm cup of hot chocolate waiting for you.Even though those days are gone of living right next door,I still enjoy their company on my visits with them!Love,Kelsey

Roadtrip to Springfield!

Aimee,my sister,and I traveled to Springfield IL.this past Monday to visit some friends.As we were going down the highway,we noticed how beautiful the sky was.I decided to take some pictures to share with everyone. The Lord has been impressing on my mind these past couple of months of how much He is in control of all,and seeing these pictures reminded me again!In the begging of January I got in a serious car accident.I have been very thankful with what the Lord has been teaching me though this as I continue to heal.As a young woman I would get an excuse in my head ,being, as I get older and matured,THATS when I would start giving my life to the Lord.I mean because I have plenty of time before I need to take Him seriously,RIGHT!I'm young.Well lets just say the Lord was very faithful to show me how wrong I was in thinking that!You absolutely never know when the Lord will take you home to be with Him.In fact,He's the one who decides if you will take another breath or not!I am so thankful that the Lord is faithful to be patient with such a sinner as I.I just though I would share a personal struggle of mine to encourage you with your walk with the Lord.Remember your life belongs to Him not your own selfishness and pride.Here is a verse I will share with you for encouragement:Thus you are to be holy to me.For I the Lord am holy.And I have set you apart from the peoples TO BE MINE!Leviticus 20:26I hope you were encouraged by this!In Christ's Love,Kelsey
